I'd never been up high in the mountains. I'd never seen fields of snow with just crisp blue sky on the horizon. What do you do when you get the chance for such a moment? Of course you take a 40 year old middle-format camera and you bathe in the beauty! So I did...naturally I filled it with Ektachrome that expired in 2004 and snapped and wound until I reached the pinnacle and the last shot I had with me. I shot the cross, sat down and stared out as far into the blue as my eyes could see. Heaven.
