In June & July 2017, Matt, a very good friend and mentor of mine, and I sailed around Denmark on his yacht, Levita. It was a moment of relaxation and revelation for me as we left behind 'normal reality' and disappeared into that beautiful feeling of freedom and space. I took along 20 rolls of Kodak Ektachrome film that expired in 2003/04 and was gifted to me by Ferrari photographer Günther Raupp. Having developed and scanned the film in my darkroom, the result is Open Space, printed on premium matt photopaper by Adobe printing partner, Blurb.
